"Maybe you’re like me, forced to painfully transform into another creature during the frigid cold months of the winter. Or a blood drinker, a shifter of many forms, a holder of magical arts, or someone who was born in the sea. No matter what you are - you are a forsaken one.
Even if our species are natural enemies we must put aside our differences in order to survive the world that is today. We absolutely must not be known by the humans for the fear of the hunters who will expose our secrets. All we need to do is blend in and live peacefully without any problems, understood? Good." - Zagerus Binx
Think you can survive with us? Then keep reading and find out more about the forsaken ones!
All we ask is that you carefully read over our rules and known species guidelines before applying on the website; link will be provided below. Human
- Anything is welcome (really)
- Are welcome to choose between knowing or not knowing of the supernatural
- On rare occasions, hunters will come into play where they may track and attempt to slaughter the supernatural beings; must be approved by the admin
Werewolves
- Most are born into the lifestyle unless otherwise attacked and survive; the odds being slim
- The werewolf population has more males compared to females
- Eye shade and shape remain the same in both forms
- All transformation are painful
- While in wolf form they are on all fours, werewolves on average are all similar in size (3 ft at the shoulder tallest; making them a bit larger than a normal grey wolf)
- Transformation depends on the temperature within the winter months (November - March). During these months werewolves are unable to take on their human form until the weather breaks and stays at a constant temperature above 65°F. Very few may shift into their human form but more than likely will switch back and forth until they are old enough for the transformations to become stable. In rare cases, one may shift early and be lucky enough to stay in their two legged form until the following year
- They are able to force a transformation when/if needed but the consequence of this action is a more agonizing shift back into their human form and or the possibility of remaining a wolf until the following year
- The advantages of hearing, smelling and eyesight remain in both forms all year
- They may allow their teeth or nails to grow but, the chance of them remaining is higher than expected
- when in wolf form, they have more animistic tendencies vs human therefore they barely remember anything of their "past life" until returning back in human form but it will takes hours for everything to fully come back
- when a wolf, they can not remember anyone from the human part of their life expect their faces and scents may be familiar enough
Vampires
- Are able to walk in the sunlight for long period of times but, be warned serious burns will occur
- Drinking old or infected blood will turn them rabid
- The species have venom within their fangs that are fatal to werewolves
- Unable to control their thirst during the annual blood moon - sexual and aggressive hormones rage days leading up to this event
- Highly populated species, most living in large covens
- Dhampires (vampire and human hybrid) may occur but, are extremely rare (1 in 1,500) chance of this hybrid surviving. Most are highly sought after by other species to be eliminated
Magicians
- Must be born into the lifestyle with the gift of magic
- Not all spells are curses
- Curses may be reversed but only by one who posses magic
- Blood magic is allowed depending on the coven as it is mostly frowned upon
- tend to live in family groups or covens as their power is stronger together
- are able to blend in more with average humans
Sirens
- Must be born in a large body of water
- Must have a tie to water constantly given this is where their power comes from
- Like the legends, are able to sing beautifully and lead men to their watery graves
- Are able to walk on land and appear as human but, their skin must be motorized and or they need to be drinking water
- Have two forms, one to disguise their true self and obviously their finned/tailed form
Shifter
- Are only able to transform into any native animal species from their birth environment
- Alphas of this species have red eyes in whatever form they take; extremly rare
- Most live alone unless an established family group occurs
- Each shift drains their energy so swapping into multiple species right after another is rare
- no matter the form, their eyes remain the same color
Skin Walker
- In Navajo culture, a skin-walker is a type of harmful witch who has the ability to turn into, possess, or disguise themselves as an animal
- Rare creatures who hate to make themselves known
- Tend to avoid everyone and everything
- Shed their skin between shifts (skin is usually a gush pile)
- Eyes are silvery reflective in cameras
Genie
- beautiful individuals capable of wish granting for either close friends, loved ones or themselves
- tend to have elegant lifestyle and look down at the other species
- do NOT need to be in a lamp (thanks disney)
- are perfectly able to blend in with the rest of humanity
Elf
- Beautiful individuals with mesmerizing features
- Tend to live elegant lifestyle and look down at the other species
- Usually snobby in personality like the genies
- Ears may be pointed but do not have to be
Spirit
- deceased creatures; human and supernatural whom tend to haunt the locations their were slain or passed away in
- usually have unfinished business
- other supernatural creatures are able to view them
- can allow humans to see if them if they wish
- can only stay in one general area (ex, one city only)
- may possess objects or humans
- can pass through any object including living beings
