I have a concept, but I’m leaving most of it open to collaboration ! The basic concept is that the apocalypse happens and (supposedly) the only people who survive are a few soldiers who were being held hostage underground by the enemy. Then, no longer having an enemy to keep them there, they escape and have to face the dangers of a post-apocalyptic world.
The only playable characters in this are ones already created by me, however, they are very open to additional backstory/appearance/personality/other detail development that isn't already stated ! Just don't undermine or remove the existing stuff.
There are 2 characters left to choose from. Please, only one per person. I hope to get at least 1 other person in this group, and I will play the remaining character, in addition to narrating.
Given that this is a concept for a story that I will rewrite and create a comic out of later, keep in mind that I have the right to change anything I prefer to be different in the final product. I won't be very picky about the way things go during the actual roleplay though, don't worry.
That being said, also keep in mind that the characters and story will belong to me in the end. I will, however, credit you all for your contributions if you'd like, or if you want to remain anonymous, let me know.

JACK WICKER
Jack is your average “too cool to care” sort of guy. Very prideful and rude, but witty and full of energy to somewhat counter it with charm. Short-tempered and swears a lot. Tall and wiry build. Was close with his father (who was actually a bad person) and took everything he said to heart.
- He was a corporal in the army, and seems unusually proud of having had this position.
- Very educated and experienced in the use of firearms.
- He is very prideful and refuses to accept help or friendship (allowed to change through development).
- His father had always instilled a twisted sort of idea into him ever since he was young; boys don’t cry. In other words, he believes he must be tough (even cold, rude, and prideful) at all times.
JAMES REDD
James is a very sweet and optimistic boy, who’s temperament can be described as something like that of a puppy. He loves people and loves pleasing them, and he REALLY loves to be praised for a job well done.
Although he’s not terribly bright, he’s brave, hard-working, and loyal to the end.
- Barely fresh out of boot camp, he’s very naive and uneducated in the way of army training, although he does just barely know the basics.
- Can remember and follow orders very well and is incredibly loyal towards the people he respects.
- He is hardly past being a child anyway, so you can’t expect much more. He’s fairly unintelligent, innocent, klutzy, and overly trusting.
- He desperately wants to please his superiors and will do anything he can to achieve this.
