As Above, So Below is an advanced-level RP for writers who are as passionate about telling a compelling story as they are about the Dragon Age universe. I've had lots of experience with forum RP in general (and a decent amount of admin on top of that), and now I find myself with a lot of extra free time.
I wanted to try out something more structured plot-wise than what I've seen offered at a lot of other RP forums in the wild, so my site revolves around "replaying" the events of Inquisition from the perspective of player characters who witness the rise of the Inquisitor as she makes choices that influence the world we play in. In the lead-up to news about DA4, I'm hoping we can reach the end of Inquisition in time for the next game and carry the site's plot forward into DA's current timeline.
The site is brand-new and there's lots of decisions about how it's run that need to be made, but our first event is live, everything is ready, and I'm looking for feedback (and new players)! I'd like to build a community of advanced players, which basically means that if you love to write *and* you think you're good at it, you'll fit right in.
Anyway, there's a link at the top of the post if any of you would be so kind as to check it out. I'd love some new players to help me shape the direction of the site going forward (right now there are only a few of us), but general feedback and advice would be appreciated just as much! I'm also looking to take on one or two more mods once the site has had time to grow.
Do you guys have any experience with other DA roleplay sites that I can check out? If so, please link them and tell me what you like about them so I can maybe learn a little bit about user experience and how to make my own RP a success.
