Hi there!
I'm Bethany, one of the admins over at Lady of Larkin. I'm 23 years old and I live in England. My co-admins are both in their twenties, and both live in the USA.
Myself, along with the other admins - Kelly and Pierce, are recruiting. We are looking for motivated, passionate individuals to join our forum.
At the moment, we do not require applications. We expect you to be semi lit, but other than that, we just hope that you are a kind, polite person who is ready to have some fun with us!
Information about our forum:
Welcome to Lady of Larkin Boarding Institute, Hawaii's biggest and best known mixed boarding school.
Lady of Larkin, known as LOL/Larkin amongst the students here, is home to over 3000 boarders, all aged between 11 and 20. The students come from all over the country to attend this prestigious school, and they are all very mixed in personality. Larkin celebrates individuality and diversity, which adds to its charm.
Larkin also accepts Day Students, meaning students who live in the area and don't need to board can attend, or people who can't physically afford to board can attend.
The staff here are handpicked from around the country, being hugely qualified in their own subject area. They push the students to achieve what they're capable of, and even more. Whilst the school focuses primarily on academic studies, it also sways hugely towards raising strong-minded, confident individuals.
PLOTTING INFORMATION:
Our plots, to begin with, are inspired from Pretty Little Liars. This is just a base plot to get our new forum up and running. Anything else from this will be COMPLETELY down to admins, but of course input from our members is massively accepted!
CURRENT PLOTS:
Plot Update for February 2018
It's now the end of summer break and classes will be starting up in a couple of days. The students are hanging to the last shred of social freedom that they have and are celebrating the end of their prolonged holiday with the annual beach party thrown by none other than notorious party host, Brodie Johnson. Everyone is invited to attend, in fact they're encouraged to attend. However, this year is a little different. Maddison Meyer is nowhere to be found. Her best friends have not heard from her and are assuming that the Meyers are still vacationing in Greece, as per usual. So, without their "leader," the girls have found themselves with a lot more breathing room. They were going to a party without the constant watchful eye of Maddie.
Tensions are lower than ever before, sans the kind that Persephone Lemieux tends to create around the vicinity. The romance and flirtations are at an all time high and the general atmosphere is full of cheer. Crushes finally get to be recognized and friendships flourish. Everything is as it should be. That is, before Ava Aguilar's past comes around to remind her of its presence. And that presence takes on a human form known as Seth Hurst. Rosalie's big drunken mouth will reveal to Brodie and Jonah (though Jonah already knows) that Seth is the abusive ex. And if Willow, Ava's closest companion, and Brodie have anything to say about it: Seth is a goner. Violence will happen. Please be aware.
Meanwhile, Cooper Carter-Clay, ever the social butterfly and lovable teddy bear that he is, finds himself cozying up to notable musician (and rebel) Ezekiel Littleton. The school's sweetheart and the Aussie goofball have a secret that has been sworn to never see the light. What could it possibly be? And why do they act so strange when Teddy Morgan, the school's fearsome dancer, comes around to be with her "Zeke?"
The Chamberlain brothers, Everett and Merritt, arrive in tow behind Persephone Lemieux. Merritt immediately makes a beeline for the beer and his best friend, Brodie. He, unlike his partyboy bestie, is antisocial and isn't much of a celebratory person. Persephone and Everett, however, live for this kind of life and began making their rounds flirting with everything that has a pair of eyes.
Other attendees quickly make their presence after them. School outcasts Logan Graves, Wren Prescott, Kendall Nance, and Alaska Johnson (no relation to the host) show up behind Kenny Benson, the Larkin clown of the school. The group immediately finds somewhere quiet to sit and observe their drunken classmates in amusement.
But awaits the partygoers is but a mystery. It's the night of all nights. And no one leaves the venue without SOMETHING happening to them. It's Larkin tradition, after all.
