About Us: Active on the web since 1997, we provide a text-based, point-driven system that allows our members to create characters that live and interact in the world he has created. We strive for an environment that combines creativity and community, allowing our members to have freedom to create dynamic and interesting characters while exploring their own writing ability. Everyone is welcome to join, from true Wheel of Time veterans who've eagerly awaited the release date of every book to those who may be new to the series. There are countless opportunities to create, explore and have fun within the world of The Wheel of Time.
We offer three guilds for your character. Women who can channel belong to the Aes Sedai Guild, Men who channel are part of the Black Tower Guild and those who are not gifted with the touch of saidar/saidin are welcome to become members of the Warder Guild. For the purpose of our world, The two Towers are at a tentative peace. While not exactly trusting of one another, there exists a sort of mutual tolerance. The Aes Sedai tolerate the Asha'man grudgingly, as they must eventually rely on them as allies for the Last Battle.
Setting/Timeline: The timeline for the NT is very fluid. In order to facilitate different people's RP speeds and styles, we do not keep a specific date or time. It is up to you as a player to keep your character's timeline straight if they are involved in multiple threads/RPs and remember each character ages differently.
In terms of book events, all known Forsaken are dead (to avoid the copyright troubles of RPing them), but Tarmon Gai'don has not yet been fought. Egwene al'Vere is presumed to have made the White Tower whole again (and had some malady befall her). The Black and White Towers are still not good friends, but there are some lines of communication between them - for example Healers at the Black Tower are permitted to come to the White for study. The Red Ajah has been repurposed for hunting down and bringing to justice or training all rogue channellers.
Most of our roleplaying takes place on our forum, but we also have several chat rooms for chat roleplay. We also use chat for getting to know people OOC. Feel free to stop by our forums or chat to say hello and learn more about us.
